I traded a mural (“office for rent” mural) for studio space in Ottawa back in 99.The studio space was in the basement of that very building…through a trap door in the floor at the entrance of what used to be the arcade on rideau st…..I had to bow my head to walk around the space. I’ve painted in some strange spaces.
